  • Last night I started getting errors trying to connect to our VPN with anyconnect-macos-4.8.00175-predeploy-k9.dmg client which was installed pre-Catalina 10.15.3. This version of AnyConnect worked fine. In an attempt to fix the problem, I uninstalled via the AnyConnect Uninstaller and tried to reinstall.
  • Upgraded to Catalina and got Cisco Anyconnect version 4.8.00175 All certificates are there. Connection error: Posture Assessment Failed: Unable to download CSD library. Please try again. Open terminal and do the following (you will need administrator rights on your Mac) cd /opt/cisco/AnyConnect.

Obtaining macOS Catalina (v. 10.15) at Stanford

macOS Catalina (version 10.15) is now available. As with previous releases the software is available for download at the Mac App Store. The update to macOS Catalina is free.

AuriStorFS & AFS at Stanford: If you are using AuriStorFS or AFS at Stanford for any version of macOS prior to 10.14 Mojave you MUST uninstall your previous version before upgrading your Mac to macOS Catalina. See footnote 1 in the table below.
